FIBO POWER 2014 Conan the Barbarian meets the 21st century commando

10 APRIL 2014

If we had to summarise this year’s FIBO POWER 2014 Trade Show in a single phrase, it would clearly be this juxtaposition of two different worlds: An “ancient”, legendary warrior and a member of special operations forces from the first half of the 21st century, both played by Arnold Schwarzenegger, the most respectable man of icon of bodybuilding industry.

The bare essentials and extremely advanced projects. And I mean both workout concepts and methods, as well as the approach to supplementation and diet of physically active people.
Barbells, weights and power cages packed with electronics and highly sophisticated Smith machines. The most essential supplements, such as proteins or creatine, and unusual ideas for supporting our workout effort.
And even though this could seem surprising from a distance, I am personally glad that in 2014 – when we know so much about the mechanisms of muscle building, supporting body regeneration and boosting our physical performance – there is place for both time-tested methods and the most recent scientific discoveries. Our task is to choose what is best for us. The aim of FIBO is to only present all these options so that we get a full picture of the developments in the fitness industry. And FIBO gets it 100% right!
